Fortunately, it's non-throwing side for Falcons QB Brad Biggs
The most painful part of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game had to be the loss for Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.
His left shoulder doesn’t feel good either.
Ryan suffered a sprained AC joint, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. He was hurt on the second-to-final drive for the Falcons when he was crushed into the turf of the Georgia Dome by San Francisco 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks. Ryan got off the ground wincing in pain and was clearly hurting.
The good news is Schefter reports surgery will not be necessary. Ryan might not even need an MRI of the injury today. So, he will be healed up soon enough but the sting of the loss will likely linger.
