Report: Mikel Leshoure to be arraigned on marijuana possession
The Detroit Lions are banking on a big return from Mikel Leshoure, the running back from Illinois they drafted in the second round last year.
Leshoure missed the entire season with a ruptured Achilles tendon, and he is expected to be fully healthy. But now Leshoure is dealing with an offseason issue. Leshoure will be arraigned today in Berrien County, Mich., on a charge of marijuana possession, according to the Oakland Press.
Per the report, which originated from ESPN 96.1, this is a second offense for Leshoure. We’ll have to see where this situation heads, but if it is a second offense for Leshoure, he could have more issues to deal with than ensuring he is ready to roll at the start of training camp.
