Report: Ndamukong Suh to hire Jay-Z, Roc Nation in some capacity

Detroit Lions star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is expected to soon hire Jay Z and Roc Nation in some capacity, according to ESPN.

Suh recently fired his agents, Roosevelt Barnes and Eugene Parker of Relativity Sports.

It's considered likely that Jay Z would be involved in advising Suh, but CAA would likely negotiate his next contract.

Jay Z also represents New York Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith through Roc Nation agent Kim Miale.

Heading into the last year of his rookie contract, Suh is due $12.55 million in salary in 2014.

He has a $22.4 million salary-cap figure.
