Mike McCarthy has had plenty of success over the past eight years as Green Bay's head coach.

He's gone to the postseason six times and guided the Packers to their Super Bowl XLV championship against the Steelers during the 2010 season.

Now it looks like the organization wants to keep McCarthy for a lot longer. According to a report from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Packers are working on extending McCarthy's contract this offseason. His current contract will expire after the 2015 season.

With the kind of track record McCarthy has had eight years in, it makes perfect sense for the Packers to keep him on as long as the winning ways continue.
