No postponement yet in light of tragedy Brad Biggs
The murder-suicide involving a Kansas City Chiefs player this morning has not postponed Sunday’s game with the Carolina Panthers at Arrowhead Stadium.
Not yet anyway.
Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reports that interim Panthers general manager Brandon Beane said the NFL advised the club to travel to Kansas City as planned. The Panthers are schedule to depart at 1:15 EST, or in a little less than 90 minutes.
That doesn’t mean the game, scheduled for 1 p.m. EST, will not be pushed back. It’s possible it is moved to Monday night because of the tragedy involving the 25-year-old player. But no postponement has been made yet and at this point the Panthers are still scheduled to depart soon.
