Veteran safety leaves Ravens for Tennessee. Terry McCormick
Veteran safety Bernard Pollard has agreed to a deal with the Tennessee Titans, per Josina Anderson.
Pollard was let go by the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, and becomes the second safety picked up by the Titans in the off-season, joining George Wilson. Both will likely compete for the strong safety spot in Tennessee, though in defensive coordinator Jerry Gray's system, a three-safety package in the nickel is often used as well.
Pollard becomes the eighth player picked up by the Titans in free agency this off-season, not counting two of their own free agents who have been re-signed.
