Report: Raiders deal Murphy to Panthers
Receiver would have been on roster bubble in Oakland. Terry McCormick
The Oakland Raiders have dealt wide receiver Louis Murphy to the Carolina Panthers, says Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports.
Murphy caught just 15 passes last year in Oakland, and according to many around the league, would have been on the bubble to hold on to his roster spot with the Raiders.
Instead, he gets a fresh start with the Panthers, who have depth issues at wide receiver. It is currently not known what the Raiders got in return for Murphy.
