Oakland said to be considering him for front office position. Terry McCormick
The Oakland Raiders are looking to possibly hire long-time coach and NFL executive Mike Holmgren to a position in their front office, according to ESPN.com.
Holmgren has a relationship with Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie dating back to Holmgren's time as a coach with the Green Bay Packers.
Holmgren's most recent job in the NFL was as team president of the Cleveland Browns, but he parted ways with the organization shortly after Jimmy Haslam purchased the franchise from Randy Lerner last fall.
The Raiders are looking for a top-level front office executive and, according to the report, Holmgren has met with them about the job. Holmgren is currently out of the country on vacation, according to the story.
