Even though the St. Louis Rams cut suspended linebacker Jo-Lunn Dunbar on Tuesday, Coach Jeff Fisher left open the possibility that Dunbar could return to the club once his banishment ends.
“Of course, there’s a good possibility (Dunbar will be back),” Fisher said following Wednesday’s practice. “Anything’s possible.”
Dunbar was suspended for the first four games of the 2013 season for violating the league's performance enhancing drug policy.
The Rams are also tight against the salary cap, and releasing Dunbar saves them approximately $1 million, per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
