INDIANAPOLIS _ The Baltimore Ravens and the agent for quarterback Joe Flacco are scheduled to meet today, per ESPN.com regarding a new contract for the 28-year-old Super Bowl-winning QB.
Flacco and his agent Joe Linta gambled in an "all in" type scenario this season by not signing a new deal this year, and won when the Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII largely due to Flacco's play in the postseason.
The two sides would like to work out an extension if possible because the Ravens are snug against the salary cap and franchising Flacco would cost them $14.6 million for the non-exclusive tag or $20 million for the exclusive tag.
