Want to add some fuel to the quarterback controversy brewing in the Nation’s Capital?

Or want to just create a distraction away from the building Mike Shanahan/Donovan McNabb mess?

How about this? Grant Paulsen, a reporter for 106.7 The Fan in D.C., reports that free-agent quarterback JaMarcus Russell is at the Washington Redskins’ facility right now, presumably for a workout.

Russell was cleared of drug charges in Alabama last week. Although he looked awfully out of shape in television accounts of the court proceedings, the Redskins are reportedly kicking the tires of the mega-bust for the Oakland Raiders.

Now back to the Shanahan/McNabb mess …
