Seahawks face prospect of losing cornerback for remainder of year Brad Biggs
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will appeal his four-game suspension for violation of the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs on Friday.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the hearing, which recently had been delayed, will take place Friday, meaning he could miss time this season and in the playoffs if he is not successful. Sherman has reportedly tested positive for Adderall.
Fellow Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner was also suspended four games for testing positive for Adderall. He dropped his appeal and was suspended for the final four regular-season games. That means Browner will be available for the postseason.
