Quarterback accused of sexual assault, investigation continues Aaron Wilson
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has admitted to police that he had consensual sexual contact with the 20-year-old woman who alleged he committed sexual assault that wasn't consummated, according to a KDKA-TV report.
Citing sources, the Pittsburgh television station is reporting that Roethlisberger has told investigators and others that he didn't force himself on the woman or have sexual intercourse with her.
Roethlisberger has reportedly told law enforcement authorities that after the encounter the woman slipped and hit her head and had to go to the hospital for treatment.
Roethlisberger hasn't been charged with a crime.
He is scheduled to be interviewed again and police want a sample of the NFL player's DNA.
Per the report, video surveillance has been seized from the nightclub where the incident allegedly occurred.

....and the mighty fall so low.
This is gonna get so ugly I bet Pitt puts in a claim on Troy Smith.
What a maroon.
Slipped and hit her head? Exactly like an old Law And order I saw.
This guy is a bad dude. I'm sorry. But if you can't get a girl friend why not just pay for sex, if that's what you want. What an embarrassment to a proud org.
Ben, why don't you do everyone a favor and lay low for about 10 years? One more of these and you might as well take up dog fighting.
I understand that Mark Chmura's looking for a roommate. You can be the pitcher and he can be the catcher.
Richard - The problem with that point is that Chmura was acquited. That was a one off for him. Big Ben must have injured his brain in that motorcycle accident, or he is terminally dopey. Maybe the Steelers should be bringing in Vick or Delhomme. If a pattern emerges on issues like these, they are rarely random events
I'm feel bad for the little girl.
And whats a 27 yr old doing out all night? I'd wager he was one of the oldest ones out there.
Being a Saints fan, I'm glad we have Brees.
Yikes. Innocent until proven guilty, but putting himself in that situation *again* after the other incident certainly brings his decision-making abilities into question. Plenty of other NFL stars go out and party without getting hit with rape allegations, so wtf Ben?
