Quarterback to meet with Goodell today Aaron Wilson
When Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and team president Art Rooney II meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell today, they won't ask for his suspension to be reduced from six games to three games.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Roethlisberger and Rooney won't ask for Goodell to reduce the six-game suspension by anything more than two games to a four-game punishment for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.
"That door is not open," a source told the Post-Gazette regarding reports that Roethlisberger would ask for more than a two-game reduction.
