Seahawks WR has some rehab ahead of him Brad Biggs
News of surgery for Sidney Rice came as a bit of a surprise at the end of his first season with the Seattle Seahawks.
That’s because after an early-season shoulder issue, it didn’t present itself as much of an issue the rest of the way. Rice had a knee that troubled him and wound up missing time at the end of the season with a concussion.
Now this: Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN in the Twin Cities reports that Rice had surgery on both shoulders following the season, not just the one with a torn labrum. So, Rice will have to rehabilitate both shoulders this offseason as he looks to bounce back from a disappointing first season following his big free-agent splash.
Otherwise, a risky signing by the Seahawks will soon look like a poor and expensive choice.
