Offensive tackle played for Foerster, new line coach in Washington Brad Biggs
It’s down to the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins for Barry Sims.
The Washington Post reports that the veteran offensive tackle will decide between the two teams soon after making a visit to Washington.
The Redskins have been focusing on the offensive line in their tempered approach to free agency and Sims could add some depth to a unit that sorely lacked it last season. Sims played for the 49ers last season, appearing in all 16 games and making seven starts, but the Redskins have line coach Chris Foerster, who came from San Francisco so there is a level of familiarity for him.
Stay tuned.

Any time you look at players in the league who have been through difficult times and then had success, it makes you keep an open mind. Look at Cris Carter. Should you have not been interested in Cris Carter when he went to Minnesota? He proved that you should've been.
