Receiver has yet to report to training camp. Terry McCormick
The Pittsburgh Steelers had been trying to work out a contract extension for restricted free agent Mike Wallace, who has yet to sign his $2.47 million tender offer.
No more apparently, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which reported that the Steelers will cut off talks with Wallace until he reports to training camp.
Wallace will either have to sign the tender and report to camp for talks to resume on a long-term deal or skip camp and take his chances once the regular season starts.
