The Jacksonville Jaguars are hearing from teams that might be interested in trading for holdout running back Maurice Jones-Drew, according to Ian Rappoport of NFL.com.
The report says the Jaguars are not actively looking to deal Jones-Drew, although the dilemma between the running back and the club has escalated in recent days following owner Shad Khan's comments that MJD's holdout hardly "moved the needle" with him.
Since that time, Jones-Drew's agent has jumped into the fray to defend his client, who still has two years at a total of $9.4 million remaining on his current contract.
Stay tuned. This situation could get even more interesting if Jones-Drew is still a holdout by the time the regular season rolls around.
