Tight end Vernon Davis has been a no-show to organized team activities at the 49ers' complex so far.
And apparently it's related to his financial standing with the franchise. According to CSNBayArea.com, Davis hasn't reported to the voluntary workouts because he is seeking a new contract.
The report also states Davis is sacrificing $200,000 in a workout bonus by not attending.
Davis is currently under contract for two more years, set to earn base salaries of $4.7 million (2014) and $4.35 million (2015).
Davis had one of his better seasons in his career in 2013, catching 52 passes for 850 yards and 13 touchdowns. The only season in which he had more yards was in 2010 (914).
