Quarterback's travel restricted by probation officers Aaron Wilson
The Philadelphia Eagles recently issued a strong denial that they were considering cutting backup quarterback Michael Vick because of the fallout from a shooting at his 30th birthday party in Virginia Beach.
Then, a report surfaced that Vick isn't allowed to travel outside the state of Pennsylvania because of apparently wary probation officials.
Now, there's a new report from Yahoo! Sports that a high-ranking Eagles team source said the team is still contemplating releasing Vick.
Quanis Phillps, a defendant in the Vick dogfighting case who's also on probation, was shot at the birthday party.
Although Vick isn't a target of the investigation, according to Virginia law enforcement officials, he's not supposed to associate with Phillips under the terms of his probation.
Per the report, the Eagles are concerned that Vick is still haning out with Phillips.
"Phillips' presence at Vick's party was a violation of his probation," the report stated in a series of Tweets. "Yes. And Eagles' current stance is related to that. Clearly Vick's probation officers aren't buying that Phillips simply crashed the party. If they are, why is he restricted w/ travel? The Eagles have done their due diligence on this one. They know what is going on. ..
"This idea that Quanis Phillips "crashed" Michael Vick's party doesn't appear to be holding a lot of water. No great effort 2 keep him away. Eagles think Quanis Phillips is 1 of the guys Vick surrounds himself with who eggs Vick on and gets him into unstable situations. Dangerous. Yes, Quanis Phillips is Vick's cousin, but Eagles don't care. Vick has a simple choice while he's in the NFL: stay away or lose your career."

I'm not buying this story of crashing the party either--- just so happens the victim was there? Not that Vick had anything to do with the shooting, but clearly if he contacted Phillips he violated his probation. Email and cell phone records will be of value here. Clearly he used terrible judgement. The Eagles should rid themselves of this problem, the NFL should too.
Iggles in a tough spot. They have no other backup for essentially a rookie QB and they can't count on this guy. But that's what you get for bringing him in. Everyone knew the risks.
What would Tony Dungy do? He's in the guidance business.
Sterling sliver jewelry, particularly bracelets, is a staple of fashionable women everywhere. This type of pandora beads is durable yet so beautiful. The versatility is outstanding; it goes with every outfit whether with jeans or with a designer gown. For instance, movie star Sandra Bullock wore a silver cuff bracelet to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in May 2009. A silver cuff bracelet makes an audacious statement, yet it is lightweight and is flexible so that it can fit a variety of wrist sizes. Another popular type of bracelets is the silver charm bracelet. There are many shapes and designs for the charms that are attached to the bracelet.

Wow, shoot your cousin or order him to be shot? What kind of blood feud is this? Could his probation at least allow him travel to nearby West Viriginia for that?
