Minnesota trying to finalize a new contract for him Brad Biggs
Who needs Vincent Jackson when they can have Randy Moss?
The Minnesota Vikings are working to complete a trade with the New England Patriots that would bring the veteran wide receiver back to the team he broke into the league with as an immediate star.
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Vikings are working on a new contract for Moss, who is a free agent after this season, to close the deal.
Moss could pair up with Brett Favre in Minnesota after nearly joining forces with him in Green Bay, a terrific story that has been wonderfully chronicled previously by Andrew Brandt of the National Football Post.
The Vikings are coming out of their bye week hoping to build some momentum. Adding Moss to the mix would certainly give a punchless passing game that misses Sidney Rice a real boost. Stay tuned.
