The Denver Broncos will have to get along without star pass rusher Von Miller for the start of the NFL season.
The Pro Bowl outside linebacker is expected to be suspended for at least six games for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy, according to ESPN.
Per the report, an announcement is expected as soon as today with both parties still negotiating the final suspension details.
An appeal that was planned may not be followed through with now.
With Miller being punished and Pro Bowl outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil now playing for the Baltimore Ravens following a bizarre fax debacle that forced them to cut him from the roster this offseason, the Broncos' defense has taken quite a hit.
