Linebacker got a scare with a neck injury Brad Biggs
Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware was released from the hospital and was resting at home late Sunday night, according to the Dallas Morning News, after a scary play that led him him being taken off the field on a back board.
Ware lost control as he was rushing San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers and went head first into Chargers guard Brandyn Dombrowski. Ware went to the turf and was down for about 10 minutes, but raised his hands as he was being taken off the field.
"The doctors felt good while they were down there with him," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.
Dallas plays Saturday at New Orelans.
