Revis begins running, scheduled for MRI

Darrelle Revis has begun running on a treadmill as part of his rehab work in Arizona from a torn ACL last September.

But as the Newark Star-Ledger reported from an NFL Network update on the New York Jets star, that is just the next step in the process as Revis is scheduled to meet with team doctors to have an MRI and perhaps receive clearance to do full weight-bearing running as he works his way back.

Revis is supposed to report to the Jets for off-season work, which begins Monday. Receiving clearance to begin full running could also open the door for a much-rumored trade to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to come to fruition.
