Darrelle Revis is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, pending his passing of the team's physical, per ESPN.com.
Here's a hint: Even though Revis is coming off ACL surgery last fall, passing a physical is in the eye of the beholder, so with the Bucs having given Revis a $96 milllion extension, if he can walk, he is likely to pass the physical.
Meanwhile, the Jets get the Buccaneers' first-round pick, No. 13 in the draft on Thursday, and a conditional fourth-rounder in 2014 that could upgrade to a third-rounder. Not much of a haul really for a guy who if he can return to his previous form, is generally regarded as the best cornerback in the NFL.
The move signals that the Bucs are doing what they can to try and keep up with the Falcons and Saints as the top contenders in the NFC South and that the Jets look to be in the midst of rebuild, whether they want to admit it or not.
