Running back still likely won't be at OTAs without a new contract. Terry McCormick
Talks are progressing for running back Ray Rice in his quest for a new contract extension from the Baltimore Ravens, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Rice, whom the Ravens placed the franchise tag on, will still likely be absent for all of the Ravens' OTA work until a new deal is completed.
The Ravens have until July 16 to work out an extension. If that doesn't happen, Rice will have to play for the tender amount of $7.7 million.
