NFL Network analyst cuts 0.06 off his personal best Aaron Wilson
Give NFL Network broadcaster Rich Eisen credit for his persistence and improvement.
He clocked a 6.18 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine, his personal best.
That's 0.06 better than his time from last year.
As usual, he ran it decked out in a full suit and tie. He also was sporting new Under Armour shoes.
The funniest parts was when they ran the simulcasts with Eisen being dusted by Julio Jones, Cam Newton, Mike Pouncey, Buster Skrine and various running backs even when he had a head start.
Eisen was even slower than beefy University of Houston guard Isaiah Thompson, who ran over 6.0 each time for the worst player times of the combine.
Eisen got a huge chest bump from former NFL defensive tackle Warren Sapp after he crossed the finishing line.
"This proves I'm an entertainer and an icon," Eisen said. "Now, I have to go throw up."
