When Ricky Williams decided to retire earlier this off-season, the Baltimore Ravens issued a statement on the matter, congratulating and thanking him for his accomplishments.
Now, could it be that the retirement will be short-lived for the 1998 Heisman Trophy winner. Williams told an Austin, Texas radio show that he would consider coming back in order to play for the San Diego Chargers, according to ESPN.com.
Why the Chargers? That is Williams' hometown team. Of course, the Chargers have yet to make public any interest they might have in taking Williams up on his offer.
