The Tennessee Titans announced that veteran kicker Rob Bironas has been released.
In nine years with the organization, Bironas made 85.7 percent of his kicks, hitting 239 of 279. He kicked a long of 60 in 2007.
"We want to thank Rob for his nine years of service to the Titans," Titans executive vice president and general manager Ruston Webster said in a statement. "He has been an outstanding kicker and we appreciate him both for his contributions on the field and in our community."
