For the second straight offseason, many eyes will be on the recovery of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Last season, he dealt with back and forearm injuries that kept him out of the beginning of last season. Then he tore an ACL, which ended his season early.
But according to the NFL Network, the plan remains for Gronkowski to return by the season-opener against Miami, with the tight end still on track to do so.
This would be huge for the Patriots if they have Gronkowski, assuming he stays healthy for a full 16 games, available for the whole year. Tom Brady's passing attack is much more potent with Gronkowski available, and that will once again be the case given that there aren't too many other tight end options available on their roster.
