Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski shaved his head to raise awareness for pediatric cancer at a charity event.

Participating in the Kid's Cancer Buzz Off charity, Gronkowski had participating members of the charity buzz off the hair on his head, which wasn't a whole lot to begin with.

He tweeted a before and after photo on his personal twitter page:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I&#39;m tackling pediatric cancer today with <a href="">@buzzforkids</a>! Before &amp; after! What do you think? <a href=";src=hash">#buzzforkids</a> <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Rob Gronkowski (@RobGronkowski) <a href="">June 8, 2014</a></blockquote>

Gronkowksi will continue his rehab this summer with a shaved head, though it will probably grow back out by the time the regular season starts — unless he keeps buzzing it.

This was certainly an important gesture from New England's top tight end to his community.
