It’s been rumored that Rob Ryan was headed to St. Louis since shortly after he was fired as the defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys.
Now, he’s going to take steps toward possibly making that a reality.
Ryan will interview for the defensive coordinator position in St. Louis this weekend, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The interview is scheduled for Saturday.
It’s been almost a foregone conclusion Ryan will join forces with Jeff Fisher and now that could materialize soon. Fisher has a close relationship with the Ryan family dating back to his days as a player for the Chicago Bears when Buddy Ryan was the defensive coordinator. We’ll see if the match happens.
