The Denver Broncos will be honoring one of the franchise's greats by inducting receiver Rod Smith into the team's Ring of Honor, according to the Denver Post.
Smith played for the Broncos from 1994-2007 and holds nearly all of the Broncos' pass receiving records after initially joning the team as an undrafted free agent from Missouri Southern. Many of those passes, of course, came from John Elway, who is now the team's vice president of operations.
Smith is the 23rd player in Broncos history to be inducted into the Ring of Honor.
