Roddy White out Sunday vs. Tampa

Atlanta wide receiver Roddy White was downgraded to out for the game Sunday against Tampa Bay because of a hamstring injury after not participating in practice Friday. White will miss the first start of his career after playing in 133 consecutive games.

White suffered the hamstring injury in Atlanta’s Oct. 7 loss to the New York Jets. White has also been battling a high ankle sprain since training camp. White may miss another game. The Falcons will be without both starting wide receivers because of a season-ending injury to Julio Jones suffered in the Jets game. Harry Douglas is expected to start at one wide receiver spot. In addition, running back Steven Jackson will miss his fourth consecutive game.
