Rodgers: It doesn't feel good to be lied to

Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers faced the media Friday, and admitted he isn't happy that his friend and business partner Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers lied to him about is involvement with performance-enhancing drugs.

"It doesn't feel good to be lied to," Rodgers told Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel writer Tom Silverstein.

Rodgers has staunchly defending his friend Braun, with whom has has a restaurant and sports bar with. Rodgers even got into a Twitter battle with a fan, saying he would bet his salary that Braun was not involved.

Earlier this week, Major League Baseball suspended Braun for the balance of the season (65 games) for his involvement with the Biogenesis Clinic in Florida, a clinic that supplied athletes with PEDs.

"It doesn't feel great being lied to like that, and I'm disappointed about the way it all went down," Rodgers said. "He looked me in the eye on multiple occasions and repeatedly denied these allegations and said they were not true."

"I don't regret backing a friend up," Rodgers added. "Obviously, in hindsight, a more measured approach would be a better course of action. I definitely believe in forgiveness and moving forward. He has a tough task in front of him moving forward with his career."
