The Denver Broncos have agreed to a deal with cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Cromartie, who leaves the Philadelphia Eagles, is the second veteran star player to join the Broncos on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Denver agreed to a deal with former New England Patriots receiver Wes Welker.

The addition of those two veterans suggests that the Broncos are loading up and readying for what they hope will be a Super Bowl run with Peyton Manning in 2013.
