Steelers quarterback accused of sexual assault Aaron Wilson
Pittsburgh Steelers star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will soon learn if he's going to be charged with a crime.
Georgia law enforcement authorities have nearly finished their investigation into whether Roethlisberger sexually assaulted a 20-year-old woman.
"We're getting close to the end," Milledgeville police chief Woodrow Blue told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The next step is for the police to turn the case into the district attorney, who will then make a determination on whether to press charges.
Roethlisberger hasn't been questioned a second time.
Roethlisberger's lawyer, Ed Garland, has maintained that his client is innocent and has expressed confidence that the situation will be resolved favorably..
Roethlisberger has been accused of sexually assaulting the college student in a bathroom at a Milledgeville nightclub.
Roethlisberger is still facing a civil lawsuit from a Nevada woman who alleges that he raped her at a Lake Tahoe hotel.
He has denied the charges and filed a lawsuit countering her allegations.
