New England Patriots defensive lineman Ron Brace has only suffered a sprained ankle after undergoing a magnetic resonance imaging exam Friday, according to the Boston Herald.
The injury isn't reported to be serious.
Brace recorded seven tackles and a sack against the St. Louis Rams.
The former second-round draft pick from Boston College began camp on the non-football injury list, but was activated earlier this month.
He has been making progress since that point in a backup role behind Gerard Warren.
