The Houston Texans invested a first-round pick in wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins last April.
On Sunday, it paid off in a big way as Hopkins helped rally the Texans to an overtime victory over the Tennessee Titans.
The Texans trailed 24-16 with just under five minutes left after Hopkins and quarterback Matt Schaub miscommunicated, and Titans cornerback Alterraun Verner returned the pass 23 yards for a TD.
But Hopkins came up big late, after the Texans tied the game and got a two-point conversion.
Hopkins caught a 25-yard pass in overtime to set up first-and-goal and the 1, and three plays later caught the game winning touchdown from Schaub. The heroics came after star receiver Andre Johnson was knocked out of the game with an apparent concussion.
In all, Hopkins had seven catches for 117 yards Sunday.
