Arizona Cardinal Patrick Peterson left Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an Achilles injury. National Football Post
Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson went down in the third quarter of Saturday's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals after injurying his left Achilles tendon. His return is doubtful.
The fifth overall pick went down when he picked off Andy Dalton's underthrown pass. The interception was called back by a person foul. He pulled up while running and fell to the ground and grabbed his leg.
Peterson has tied the NFL record by returning four punts for touchdowns this season, tying Detroit's Jack Christiansen (1951).
