Patrick Chung is returning to New England.
The New England Patriots announced that Chung has signed a new contract with them after spending this past season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Initially signed to a three-year deal in Philadelphia, the Eagles released Chung this past March.
Chung was with the Patriots from 2009-2012 and recorded 30 starts with the organization. He was a second-round pick in the 2009 draft.
In his career, Chung has totaled 291 tackles, seven interceptions, 22 passes deflections and one fumble recovery.
