New Orleans gets rude welcome before game vs. Falcons Brad Biggs
There is no love lost between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.
And you can add another chapter to it tonight on the eve of their game Thursday at the Georgia Dome.
Saints backup quarterback Chase Daniel reported via his Twitter account that workers at Hartfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta began egging the Saints after they arrived this evening via a charter flight.
“Wow, as we’re boarding buses on the Tarmac @ Atlanta airport, we start getting eggs thrown @ us by airport workers! Guess they do hate us!” Daniel wrote.
Other players have since tweeted about the adventure.
“Bus just got egged after landing in ATL by the ramp workers. Classy! "RISE Up" smh,” tight end Jimmy Graham wrote on Twitter.
So, there you go. A little welcome party to Atlanta 2 ½ weeks after the Saints became the first team to defeat the Falcons this season.
