Seneca Wallace has come to the end of the road with the New Orleans Saints.

The veteran quarterback was released today, according to ESPN.

Wallace was vying for the backup job to Drew Brees against Luke McCown.

He struggled against the Oakland Raiders, completing 3 of 6 passes for 32 yards with one interception, a fumble returned for a touchdown and was sacked twice for a 26.4 passer rating.

So, now the third quarterback is rookie Ryan Griffin.
