The New Orleans Saints got started on putting together their eight-man practice squad today, filling the first seven slots.
Included in the additions was quarterback Sean Canfield, a seventh-round draft pick out of Oregon State. Canfield will be behind starter Drew Brees and backup Chase Daniel, who beat out veteran Patrick Ramsey for a job. Daniel spent portions of last season on the team’s practice squad.
Also added were fullback Matt Clapp, wide receiver Montez Billings, guard Brandon Carter, defensive lineman DeMario Pressley, linebacker Harry Coleman and cornerback Reggie Jones.

Pressley never could keep it going as a Buc. Went from being a potential first day pick to a squad player.
