Linebacker Martez Wilson, getting an opportunity to play more for the New Orleans Saints because of the injury to Victor Butler in the off-season, fell to injury himself on Monday.
Wilson left the Saints practice field holding his arm, something that Coach Sean Payton later revealed is an elbow injury, according to Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Payton added that the injury doesn't appear to be serious, but since no coach has ever under-reported the extent of an injury, it still probably bears watching over the next couple of days to see if anything more comes from it.
