The New Orleans Saints signed defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick and center Jonathan Goodwin to one-year contracts.
The Saints had space for both once they cut offensive guard Mike Golic Jr. and linebacker Spencer Hadley.
Goodwin played for the Saints previously as the starting center.
He was the San Francisco 49ers' starting center for the past there years.
He's started 106 career games, including every game at center for the past five seasons.
Deaderick, who tried out for the Saints on Monday and previously worked out for the Kansas City Chiefs, has 50 career tackles, 5.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
He's a former New England Patriots seventh-round draft pick who has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Last season for the Jaguars, he had nine tackles, a half-sack and a fumble recovery.
