The New Orleans Saints signed offensive tackle Jason Weaver, cutting wide receiver Chris Givens
Weaver was originally signed last year by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Southern Mississippi when he went undrafted.
The 6-foot-5, 305-pound tackle appeared in 29 games with 27 starts at Southern Mississippi, serving as their starting right tackle for two seasons.
In 2011, he earned second-team All-Conference USA honors and as a redshirt senior in 2012, he was a all-conference honorable mention selection.
Weaver went to training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals and was on the Miami Dolphins' practice squad last year.
