The New Orleans Saints signed linebacker Todd Davis to a three-year contract.

They waived-injured cornerback A.J. Davis.

Todd Davis is a 6-foot-1, 230-pounder from Sacramento State.

He recorded 351 career tackles, 9.5 sacks, 30 tackles for losses, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions, six passes defensed and one blocked kick.

As a senior, the middle linebakcer registered 131 tackles, five sacks, 10 stops for a loss, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, four passes defensed and one blocked kick.

A.J.  Davis has been with the Saints for two seasons. He played in just one game.
