The New Orleans Saints signed veteran fullback Greg Jones.

Jones, 33 played last season for the Houston Texans.

Jones was signed with Erik Lorig sidelined with a leg injury.

Jones previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who drafted him in the second round in 2004 out of Florida State.

He has rushed for 913 yards and 10 touchdowns. Jones has caught 73 passes for 471 yards and three touchdowns.
