Atlanta Falcons offensive tackle Sam Baker has a torn right patellar tendon, ending his season.

The Falcons could shift rookie Jake Matthews to left tackle.

Baker had a knee surgery last year.

Baker has only played a full season twice.

Baker was signed to a six-year, $41 million contract with $14.3 million guaranteed last year.
